FIGO Staging for Endometrial Cancer (2009)

 

STAGE I
IA
IB
Tumor is confined to the uterine corpus but does not involve the uterine serosa
No or <50% myometrial invasion
Myometrial invasion ≥50%
STAGE II
Tumor invades cervical stroma but does not extend beyond the uterus (endocervicalglandular involvement only should be considered as stage I and no longer stage II)
STAGE III

IIIA
IIIB
IIIC
IIIC1
IIIC2
Tumor involves the uterine serosa, adnexae, vagina, or retroperitoneal lymph nodes
Involvement of the uterine serosa, and/or the adnexae
Vaginal and /or parametrial involvement
Involvement of the retroperitoneal lymph nodes
Positive pelvic nodes
Positive para-aortic lymph nodes with or without positive pelvic lymph nodes
STAGE IV
IVA
IVB
Tumor involves the rectal or bladder mucosa and/or distant organs
Involvement of the mucosa of the rectum or bladder
Intra-abdominal or extra-abdominal metastasis (including inguinal lymph nodes)
